Santa Cruz County Fair Hires New Fair Manager
Watsonville, CA – The Santa Cruz County Fair has hired Zeke Fraser as the new manager of the Santa Cruz County Fair and fairgrounds.
Fraser has more than 25 years of experience in general management, banking, property management, customer service, operations and logistics.
Not only does Fraser have extensive experience, but he’s also a Santa Cruz County local. He’s lived in Santa Cruz for nearly 30 years.

We Have a Winner!
Watsonville, CA – The Santa Cruz County Fair is excited to announce the theme of the 2023 Fair and the winner of the Fair Theme Contest.
The Fair theme is “Home Grown and Locally Shown!”
The theme beautifully captures the spirit of the Fair and the agricultural roots of the community.
The winning theme comes from Kathryn Doman of Watsonville. Not only is Kathryn a fan of the Fair, but she’s also a neighbor.

Santa Cruz County Fair Welcomes Ken Alstott
Watsonville, CA - My name is Ken Alstott. Recently hired to Manager/Support the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds/14th District Agricultural Association.
I’m a retired Manager from the District Agricultural Association Fairs. I’ve managed/consulted numerous Fairs over the past 18 years. My vision is to ensure the Daily Operations of the fairgrounds and the upcoming Fair are met with high expectations. This area has a wonderful Fair/Facility in which they should be proud. We will work hard to maintain the appearance and customer service this Community expects. Please continue to Volunteer and support your fairgrounds!

County Fair Seeks a Fair Theme
Watsonville, CA - The Santa Cruz County Fair welcomes the return of their annual fair theme contest. Our county fair invites the community to submit theme ideas that would reflect the spirit of the County Fair in a few words. The theme should reflect the spirit of our diverse community in which we serve, the rich agriculture & agricultural history, youth in agriculture, or the many elements that make up our unique coastal fair.
The winner will receive a VIP Family Pack for four for this year’s fair that includes a parking pass, four admissions, and carnival wristbands.
The deadline for entry was April 7, at 5pm, but has been extended. Please check back for the new deadline.
