The Kiddie Korral
The Fair Has the Perfect Spot for Young Families
Watsonville, CA – The Santa Cruz County Fair continues the Fairtime tradition of blending old favorites, history and tradition, with new ideas like no other event can. A case in point? The Kiddie Korral.
Sometimes you just need to get out of your stroller and run around. And if you are a toddler, and your parents are near Paddy Smith Park during the 2017 Santa Cruz County Fair, you can! The inaugural Kiddie Korral will be set up in beautiful Paddy Smith Park each afternoon during the times listed below.
With green grass, shade trees, activities, toys, rocking chairs, picnic tables and a changing area, the Kiddie Korral provides a safe fun place for parents to let their young children run and get some of that “kid energy” out. Then the entire family can go out on the grounds and spend more time enjoying everything the Fair offers.
Organizer Woody Ledbetter reiterates “This is not a baby sitting service but a safe place for parents to let their young children be children.” She added “Everyone including our young guests should be able to enjoy the Fair at their pace and sometimes that means getting out and running around.”
The Kiddie Korral will be open at the following times:
Wednesday, September 13 ... 5-7 PM
Thursday, September 14 ... 2-7 PM
Friday, September 15 ... 2-7 PM
Saturday, September 16 ... 2-7 PM
Sunday, September 17 ... 2-5 PM
You’ll find your favorites and plenty of new experiences throughout the 2017 Fair which runs September 13 - 17 at the Fairgrounds located on Highway 152 just east of Watsonville. Information on the Fair, and the Fairgrounds - a year round entertainment and event venue, can be found at santacruzcountyfair.com
